We stayed here overnight on the way to somewhere else. Room was very clean overall but it had a very strong cleaning odor I haven’t smelled before. Bed was comfortable and there was a lot of choices for breakfast. Parking right out front and check-in/check-out was easy. Property was overall fine for quick stay.

The hotel was beyond disappointing. The hotel has become run down to the point of wood rot and rust are the most obvious features of the outside of the hotel. Our original room was surrounded by wasps and we were unable gain access. We were moved to another location but still had to be careful when opening and closing the doors as I had to kill several wasps that came in through the door. I was told maid service would be every other day (we were there for 5 days). by the night of the third day I had to walk to the front desk to get fresh towels. they finally came Friday and did absolutely nothing! They through the bed covers over the top of the bed and tucked one corner. The trash was not removed. Apparently I was only supposed to get a "refresh" service which consists of fresh towels and the bed made. What a joke! There was no sweeping, no vacuuming, NOTHING was cleaned. If this is what they consider "maid service" maybe they should rethink their terminology. I went to the front desk to voice my complaint (politely) and in typical fashion of today's workforce, there was no accountability for the lack of professionalism or care for the customer. They did not care. I am a Titanium Elite member and have never seen a Marriott this awful. Bottom line is this place does not come close to meeting the standards of a Marriott facility. They make the Motel 6 look like the Ritz Carlton. 5 nights and $1000. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

We arrived just after dark. Waited a couple minutes at the front desk in the Gate House - only staff member onsite was preoccupied with other tasks. Pleasant and efficient check-in - but no mention of placing parking pass on vehicle's dashboard. Exterior and layout were the original design at Residence Inn - all units open to the outside, multiple buildings, exterior stairs, etc. The decking for the stairs was Trex. Exterior lighting was limited. Wood exterior on some buildings could be scraped and painted, or replaced. Pool was small. They do have a newer sport court with a basketball hoop and pickle ball lines/net. Our Studio room was clean and comfortable. Full kitchen had everything needed if making your own meals. Tough to shower if taller than 5'6" due to low height of shower head. Corners and edges of couch cushions were worn/torn. ** Our sleep was interrupted just after 4am when the battery in the CO detector began chirping. Within minutes of a call to the front desk, someone was in our room fixing the situation. Instead of replacing the battery, he unplugged the unit, explaining there are no gas appliances nor fixtures. The closest available parking space to our unit was reserved for Dr J. Unable to park there, we had to lug our bags a bit further than desired. Dr. J has been a regular guest at the hotel for nearly 15 years. The reserved parking is a nice gesture by the hotel to a valued guest, but inconvenient to other guests when is isn't there.

I visited the Residence Inn recently and only have great things to say about the property. Unfortunately the city is doing some construction nearby so you have to make sure you don't miss the turn-in for the hotel (I did!) but once you get there you will be treated to super kind staff and an easy check-in process. The rooms are very much like any Residence Inn you will stay at--kitchen, bed, fold out couch, decent bathroom, and more. Breakfast available in main building. I stayed in a 1 bed studio and it was plenty of room for me and one guest. Overall a great experience.

Average. Pleasant front desk staff. Frayed around the edges, seemed a bit dingy. Needs a property update, repair, paint. Funky air freshener smell upon entry. Thin walls. I’d rate this at the bottom of Marriott’s properties.
